EN – The artwork explores addiction through the language of tattoos. It begins with one pattern, then a second, then a third — until the boundary disappears. The black‑and‑white checker motif, initially confined to the body, spreads outward and infiltrates the surrounding landscape. Every element around the figure becomes an opportunity to claim a new pattern and imprint it onto the skin.
This visual expansion raises a question of identity: is the character reclaiming who they are, or hiding a part of themselves beneath layers of ink?
LU – D’Wierk ënnersicht d’Sucht duerch d’Form vum Tattoo. All Element ronderëm d’Figur gëtt zu engem neie Motiv, dat ee sech op d’Haut iwwerhuele wëll. Dës Ausbreedung stellt eng Fro un d’Identitéit: gëtt hei eng verluer Identitéit zeréckfonnt oder eng verdrängte mat Schichten Tënt zougedeckt?
