La leçon de vol

EN – The work highlights solitude within an urban environment. Despite the implied presence of many, the stylised buildings remain silent: people all around, yet unable to fill the sense of disorientation and abandonment. The geometric, rigorous and vertical composition evokes the architecture of modern cities. A single visible window breaks the repetition of the structures, introducing a symbolic opening toward the intimate. At the foot of the building with the window, a collapsed body lies in a bright, open space, emphasised by the light. It becomes the emotional core of the scene, fragile and isolated against the monumentality of the forms. The artist blends the structural language of Constructivism with the poetic dimension of Magic Realism, turning the city into a mental landscape where geometry converses with the human condition. The composition expresses the tension between the grandeur of the built world and the vulnerability of the individual.
LU – D’Aarbecht weist d’Einsamkeet an engem urbane Raum. Obwuel eng Onmass vu Leit implizéiert ass, bleiwen déi stiliséiert Gebaier stomm: Mënschen ronderëm een, déi awer de Gefill vun Orientéierungslosigkeit an Verloossenheet net kënnen opfänken. Déi geometresch, streng an héich Kompositioun erënnert un d’Architektur vu moderne Stied. Eng eenzeg sichtbar Fënster duerchbrécht d’Widderhuelung vun de Volumen a bréngt eng symbolesch Ouverture an dat Intimt.
